Travel plans this summer?  Note these tips to help your back on long flights:

Provide Back Support: 

Using a pillow to provide support behind your lower back helps to prevent slouching and keep the spine straight.

Watch Your Posture:

If possible, when you sit keep your legs positioned at a right angle with feet flat on the ground and knees about the same height as your hips. Doing so keeps stress off the lower back.

Move Around:

Staying stationary for long periods of time tends to stiffen the body and can intensify pain. Do a few stretches or take a walk down the aisle.
